Pancakes Elvis style

Ingredients for 4 portions:

  1. For the pancakes:
    1. 3 eggs
    2. 150 gr. All-purpose flour
    3. 10 gr. Baking powder
    4. 20 gr. Rasel Hanout
    5. 50 gr. Canola oil with butter flavoring
    6. 20 gr. Hazelnut oil
    7. 20 gr. Black sugar
    8. 1 Dash of salt
  2. For the banana chutney:
    1. 2 items of chopped bananas
    2. 80 gr. Chinese five spices mix
    3. 20 gr. Honey
    4. 30 gr. Roasted and spiced coconut with peanut
  3. For the peanut butter sauce:
    1. 150 gr. Dulce de leche
    2. 150 gr. Satay
    3. 50 gr. Coconut milk
  4. For the decoration:
    1. 15 gr. Maple pearls
    2. 5 slices of crispy bacon, baked in the oven.

Preparation time: 20 minutes & execution time: 10 minutes

Instructions:

  1. For the pancakes:
    1. Blend in a bowl the sugar and the eggs, until they become homogeneous.
    2. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend them, until a homogeneous mixture is created.
    3. In a non-stick pan ladle out the mixture.
    4. Cook the pancakes in a medium heat, until they get a nice golden colour.
  2. For the banana chutney:
    1. Add the honey in a pan, until it starts boiling.
    2. Add the rest of the ingredients, remove the pan from the heat and blend it, until the mixture cools down.
  3. For the peanut butter sauce:
    1. Add in a pot all the ingredients and in a medium heat, blend the sauce in order to become homogenous.
  4. Decoration:
    1. Add 3-4 pancakes in a plate and between them add a good amount of the banana chutney.
    2. Dress the plate with the peanut butter sauce and garnish it with the crispy bacon and the maple pearls.
